Provider Overview

Operating since 2007, ADHD services since 2015. Key differentiator: they manage prescribing and annual reviews directly, removing the need for GP shared care. Important: currently rated 1.6/5 from 77 Trustpilot reviews with widespread complaints about communication — read current reviews carefully before requesting a referral.

What to expect on the day of assessment

A gold-standard neurodevelopmental assessment is a thorough clinical investigation. Here is what you should expect from this provider:

  • Pre-Assessment Check: You will complete pre-screening questionnaires (such as ASRS for ADHD or AQ-10 for Autism) and gather background information.
  • Structured Diagnostic Interview: The clinician will conduct a clinical interview using validated tools (like the DIVA-5 and/or ADOS-2). They will discuss your development, school reports, and current day-to-day challenges.
  • Informant Report: Where possible, a parent, partner, or close friend who knew you in childhood or knows you well now will be interviewed to corroborate symptoms.
  • Outcome & Feedback: A detailed diagnostic report is issued explaining the diagnosis and mapping out recommended accommodations or treatment plans.

Post-Diagnostic Support:

Offers medication titration services. Direct psychoeducation resources or coaching should be confirmed with the clinic.

Shared Care Agreement Success:

Shared Care success rate is: GP Discretion (standard for private clinics).

A Shared Care Agreement (SCA) allows your NHS GP to take over prescribing your ADHD medication, saving you private drug fees. GPs are not legally obligated to accept private SCAs and may refuse if the provider is not NICE-guideline compliant. This provider's reports are NICE-guideline compliant (GMC/HCPC registered team), which maximizes GP acceptance rates.

Unbelievably fast RTC wait time!

I can't believe how fast this was. My GP sent the referral and I was assessed just 5 weeks later. Even better, they manage the prescribing directly so I didn't have to worry about my GP refusing a shared care agreement (which is a huge issue in my area). Absolute godsend.

Fast assessment but administrative hiccups

The clinical team is wonderful and the speed is unmatched (less than 6 weeks wait). However, their admin team is very hard to reach. I had to call multiple times to get my prescription sent to the pharmacy, and emails often go unanswered. If you don't mind chasing them, the speed makes it worth it.

Direct prescribing makes a huge difference

Very good experience. Having them manage the annual reviews and titration directly is a massive benefit. My GP had already told me they wouldn't accept private or some RTC shared care, so Harrow Health's direct prescribing route was my only viable option. The communication could be slightly faster, but otherwise excellent.
