Life-changing experience via Right to Choose
I was referred by my GP under Right to Choose. While the wait for titration was about 5 months, the actual assessment was incredibly thorough and supportive. The psychiatrist was kind, understood my struggles, and made me feel heard for the first time. The portal is easy to use, though sometimes responses from support can take a couple of days.
Excellent clinician, but admin wait times are tough
The assessment was brilliant and my psychiatrist was five-star. However, the system is clearly under strain. Waiting 6 months between my diagnosis and starting titration was very difficult. If you can handle the wait and the sometimes slow portal admin, the clinical care is top-tier.
Incredibly thorough ADHD assessment
Very professional. They asked for a lot of history, including childhood school reports and an informant report from my mother. It felt very rigorous. Now on my second month of titration and the nurse practitioner is very responsive and monitoring my heart rate/blood pressure closely.
